A 2-Year-Old Whose Journey To Conquering CHD Started In Hangu, KPK
This is the inspirational story of Ahmed Aziz. An exceptionally brave 2-year-old child from a land up north in the country, a city known as Hangu in KPK.
At such a young age, Ahmed was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) known as Complete Antrioventricular Canal Defect (CAVC). Suffering from a severe CHD, coupled with the lack of medical facilities in Hangu, Ahmed’s father, Aziz Ullah, had to do everything he possibly could to save his precious child’s life.
Thankfully, because of our remarkable reputation and credibility, it did not take long for him to find out about our operations being based out of Lahore. The family came to us as soon as they possibly could and made a plea for help.
With our phenomenal team having years of experience now, we managed to step in and swiftly arrange everything required for Ahmed’s surgery. From funds to hospital-related formalities to patient discharge, we were there for this child every inch of the way, ensuring that any obstacles were overcome with ease.
Ahmed is now what we like to call, a CHD Warrior. His heart surgery was a resounding success! His family, especially his father who is also an inspiration in his own right, is eternally grateful to PCHF and our phenomenal donors.
He hopes and prays that some time in the future, he can donate significant amounts to us and help deserving children like his son. He also wishes for his shining light, Ahmed, to become a doctor when he grows up.
