Project Danial

One of the main aims of PCHF is to help improve the local pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery infrastructure in Pakistan. In lieu of this, we are involved in organizing capacity building workshops in collaboration with hospitals/institutions in Pakistan, where CHD treatment is currently taking place.

October 2022 – Lahore
The PCHF Interventional Cardiology Medical Mission 2022 was successfully carried out at Children’s Hospital, Lahore. The team of visiting doctors included Dr. Younes Boudjemline and Dr. Saif Ur Rehman from Doha, Qatar. They were accompanied by our local team of Cardiologists led by Dr. Najam Hyder.

Over the course of 2 days, we were able to carry out the successful interventional treatment of 13 deserving children, with the cost of these interventions covered entirely by us. Notably, one of the cases was an LPA (Left Pulmonary Artery) Stenting, with the patient awaiting treatment for the past 2 years.

PCHF Services For CHD Treatment

PCHF is working closely with all major institutions in Pakistan that are involved in the treatment of CHD. PCHF aims to help these institutions improve their quality and capacity, ultimately helping build an infrastructure which can accommodate the huge disease burden of CHD in Pakistan.
