It was heartwarming to have a true pioneer, Mr. Asad Sheikh, Founder & Chief Operating Officer of the country’s largest foodie community, Foodies R Us, come visit us. Our Volunteer CEO, Mr. Farhan Ahmad, and dedicated team members welcomed him and he was given an in-depth presentation on our cause, which is to ensure that not a single child with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in Pakistan remains untreated. He also had the opportunity to witness firsthand the progress of our flagship project, Pakistan’s first dedicated Children’s Heart Hospital & Research Institute, which is now on the road to completion and has legendary Pakistani cricketer, Misbah Ul Haq, as its Brand Ambassador.
As we are edging closer to making our dream a reality, the support of individuals like Mr. Asad Sheikh, who are considered trailblazers, is key for us and more importantly, entire families affected by CHD, the world’s most common birth defect. It was an absolute privilege to have him come over and we feel grateful beyond measure. Together, may we inspire others to join us on our journey to conquering CHD in Pakistan.
