Dr. Saeedah Asaf is a gold medalist graduate of Rawalpindi Medical College. She did her postgraduate training from the United States and did her anesthesia residency from Indian University and UNM (New Mexico). She did her Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship from Vanderbilt University. Before coming back to Pakistan, she was an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesia first at the University of North Carolina and then at Vanderbilt University, where she was also the director of the Difficult Airway Program. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesia and a member of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia. She has also published several research articles related to pediatric anesthesia and cardiac anesthesia in children.
