PCHF Interventional Cardiology Medical Mission 2022
The PCHF Interventional Cardiology Medical Mission 2022 was successfully carried out at Children’s Hospital, Lahore. The team of visiting doctors included Dr. Younes Boudjemline and Dr. Saif Ur Rehman from Doha, Qatar. They were accompanied by our local team of Cardiologists led by Dr. Najam Hyder.
Over the course of 2 days, we were able to carry out the successful interventional treatment of 13 deserving children, with the cost of these interventions covered entirely by us. Notably, one of the cases was an LPA (Left Pulmonary Artery) Stenting, with the patient awaiting treatment for the past 2 years.
As a part of our ‘Project Danial’, the objective of this medical mission was to provide local pediatric cardiology healthcare professionals the opportunity to work alongside internationally renowned doctors, helping them improve their technical capabilities and skills.
