The success story of a 10-year-old CHD Warrior! #SaturdaySpecial
Mehmood Hameedi, a bright, young 10-year-old with a heart of gold, was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) known as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). Mehmood’s condition was getting worse and his family were struggling to cope with this ordeal. They were referred to us and came all the way from Hafizabad.
Mehmood’s mother, Zoobia, is single and works as a teacher at a Madrasa. She solely supports her whole family, which includes Mehmood and his younger sister. Even though Zoobia works as hard as she possibly can, she could not afford her son’s planned treatment, an ASD Closure.
Thankfully, we at PCHF, stepped in and managed to arrange all the funds needed for the procedure, which turned out to be a massive success!
Mehmood Hameedi, after undergoing successful heart surgery, is now a CHD Warrior. For children born with CHD and their families, no matter how hard things get, no matter how impossible things may seem, we at PCHF are here for you.
